You make a very valid argument. So far this season we have seen no overtaking for the lead as such. Alonso passed Vettel when the German had engine problems in Bahrain. Then Button took the lead when Vettel crashed out in Oz. Vettel passed Webber in Turn 1 at Malaysia and won comfortably, and Button passed a slower Rosberg in China when the German went off track momentarily.

The aerodynamics need to be drastically reduced in order to improve the show. For 2009 all winglets on the car were banned, but looking at the cars these days they have slowly began to re-emerge on the cars. The cars need to be made as slippy as possible, and the emphasis put back onto mechanical grip
